Tony dowlers hellhounds

Going from Strength to Strength

After playing to mainly club audiences for a short period to get the feel for what people wanted from the bands new material, Tony Dowler is now set to unleash his Hellhounds on the wider  public with a new more honed version of the band.

The band consisting Tony Dowler - guitar/vocals, Dave Burns - bass guitar and Steve Tansley - drums have recently completed a tour of Ireland followed by a Festival in Bremanger Norway where Tony's powerful yet finely tuned guitar sound coupled with his supreme talent and backed  by his equally capable rhythm section took the crowds by storm. 

Tony Dowlers Hellhounds are currently writing and recording material for a new album at their studio in Manchester. They built and equipped the facility last year for the purpose of recording themselves, as facilities in the past have proved inadequate and never really captured the full potential of their music. Now the band have their own recording facility they will be busy with ongoing recording projects some of which will be available for playback in the near future using the player here on the website.  The album when completed will be announced here and will also be available from the site.   For now though the band are concentrating on building a solid fan base by placing themselves in selected blues clubs up and down the country and will be securing festival appearances throughout the summer of 2008 coupled with future tours of mainland Europe and Ireland.
